Admission

Admissions to our nursing home must be based on a physician's written order certifying that the individual being admitted requires no greater degree of care then this facility is licensed to provide. We accept Medicaid provided beds are available. We are a Medicare Certified facility. Admission is open to all individuals without restriction as to race, color, religion or national origin, provided that the individual is not dangerous to him/her self or others, is not in an active or acute stage of alcoholism, drug addiction, mental illness or communicable disease.

We are considered a long-term care center, but a person may stay for a short period of time, provided beds are available, while the person who normally cares for him/her is on vacation or otherwise not available. This is referred to as respite care.
